Sino-Telecom Officially Released the 100G OTN Transmission Platform--STN6800 in PT/EXPO China 2016 Held in Beijing
In the exhibition, Sino-Telecom officially released the 100G ONT optical transmission platform STN6800, which made Sino-Telecom become the first supplier which can provide 100G OTN solutions outside the first-tier suppliers such as Huawei, ZTE, Alcatel-Lucent, and Fiber Home etc. STN6800 adopts the industry’s mainstream architecture, which is 10U height and is with 16 service slots. It can support OTN boards with different service types such as 10G/100G, OA, OADM and DCM etc. Besides STN6800, Sino-Telecom’s unique 1U compact pizza box OTN--STN6100 is equipped with different service boards. STN6100 can respectively support 10G or 100G aggregation and transmission functions, which meets the needs of small-capacity and rapid deployment.
Meanwhile, Sino-Telecom’s SAN3700 10U G/EPON OLT, 1U pizza box 16-port/8-port G/EPON OLT, and full series ONU were displayed as well. In addition to standard G/EPON CO-end and client-end equipment, Sino-Telecom showed a series of innovative PON solutions with Sino-Telecom tag, including WDM PON, PON amplifier and PON protocol analyzer. Sino-Telecom’s WDM PON technology is especially suitable for urban area with optical cable shortage and for vast rural areas. FTTH coverage of thousands of households can be rapidly achieved by only one core of optical fiber. PON amplifier is very effective in the treatment of weak light, so that the coverage of FTTH can be doubled. XPA2000, the exclusive global high-end instrument which supports G/EPON dual-mode protocol analysis, can help to ensure the interconnection and interworking of G/EPON for operators.
During the exhibition, we not only received domestic operators and customers, but also had many inquiries from overseas clients. Besides that, a number of intentional contracts were signed on site. We achieved fruitful results in the exhibition of this year.
