Sino-Telecom has invested over RMB 30 million for the R&D facility to develop and manufacture high quality telecommunication broadband access and internet security products. After years of unremitting efforts, Sino-Telecom has developed advanced technologies in numerous fields covering access network, transmission network, internet security, and other fields.

Up to now, Sino-Telecom has created over thirty patents for invention and more than twenty software copyrights. It has become a national high-tech enterprise, Shanghai Software Corporation, and Shanghai “Professional-Precision-Special-Innovative” Corporation. Also, it has obtained the national innovation fund in the field of internet security for several times. Now, its years of efforts have been paid off, with the above technology achievements having been transformed into Sino-Telecom’s rich production line.  

The company attaches great importance to industry-university-research cooperation. In recent years, Sino-Telecom has carried out multi-level, multi-field, and deep cooperation, including the establishment of associated laboratories, combined training of postgraduates, setting up practice base for fresh graduates, and other cooperation, together with Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Science, Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

 
On the foundation of developing excellent basic products, Sino-Telecom will further promote and develop communication and internet safety in the future, striving to make Sino-Telecom to be the national leading supplier in the field of crossing communication and internet safety before 2018; eventually, Sino-Telecom shall become the leader in the field of internet safety domestically and internationally.
